House Party provides you with the opportunity to host parties sponsored by the products and the brands you love. By hosting a House Party you get to try their stuff. You don’t pay anything or sell anything. It’s a no pressure party fun way for you and your friends to try new things.
House Party requires you to invite a minimum of 10 guests to each party and use their new online Facebook party planner to plan the event.
I have hosted parties for Folgers, Coffee-mate, Land-o-lakes and Tombstone Pizza in the past. They also have a special area for hosts who are 21+ years old!
Here’s how it works:
1. Sign up at House Party to get started. You must confirm your account before signing up for a House Party opportunity.
2. Choose a party that sounds fun to host and is available for your area. The application process is very smooth and asks you questions about your familiarity with the product that will be featured at your party. Other questions includes your personality traits and your preferred party style. Expect to spend 10 minutes on each party application.
3. If you have been selected to host a House Party you will receive a confirmation email saying that you were selected to host the party (this could take a few days or even a couple weeks…just be patient!). Keep in mind that thousands of applications are received for each party, so if your not selected just keep trying! Also, certain parties are only available in certain areas, so don’t be upset if you are not chosen. Just keep trying!
4. If you were selected to host a House Party congrats, now the fun begins. You will first begin by setting up a Party Page on the House Party website. The Party Page features:
Blog: You can share your experiences on your Party Page blog with updates about your party.
Invitations: Spread the love. You can share an exclusive link with your friends to invite them to the party. In return you get exclusive access to try and share some cool products with your guests.
Printable Decorations: Most Party Packs include online decorations that you can print off.
Menu Ideas: Very often House Party gives you downloadable recipes and drink suggestions for our parties. And if you’re having a party around a food product, you will receive either the product or coupons to buy the product FREE your Party Pack. But you can still add your own.
Theme Ideas: Most House Parties already come with a set theme, so the hard part is already done for you! But now you get to put your own personality into hosting. From decorations and the menu to everything in between, here you can find out how you can make your House Party your own.
Your Party Pack will arrive a week before your party. Each Party Pack is chocked full of goodies that usually include coupons, full size products, various promotion materials like aprons, and some type of goodie for each guest.
